Main Line Real Estate and Water-Soaked Basements First of all I would like to express my condolences to anyone who has been inconvenienced by this storm. However my favorite pet peeve is the water-soaked basement because they are not covered by insurance. They will not cover ground water, so basically the expense is on you. Besides that let me give some advice to help you on the way to recovery. Try to get a company like Servpro who can lift the carpets and pads and bring in the fans to get this dried out ASAP. According to the America’s Best High Schools study in the June 27, 2011 issue of Newsweek Magazine, three of the top four public high schools in Pennsylvania are located on the Main Line. Newsweek ranked the Top 500 public high schools in the U.S. and Harriton High School in Lower Merion Township ranked #1 in PA and #123 in the country. Radnor High School was ranked #3 in PA and #146 in the country. Lower Merion High School in Ardmore was ranked #4 in PA and #224 in the country. As a Top producing Realtor on the Main Line and I feel as Realtors we doing a fabulous job. Despite what all of the new reports say, Lower Merion, Radnor, Haverford, Tredyfferin and Eastown Townships are still the best deal around. Sales are down only 11% from last June. Our Sales average is 95% in relation to the asking price. We live in the Best School Districts in the country. The quality life far surpasses any of the surrounding areas. Did I ever tell you that divorces make up a very large part of our business? So when choosing a Realtor you should find one that has been divorced. Yes, I have been there and survived. Having been through the process I know it is doable, and less traumatic than the divorce. So chin up let’s get started.
