maltese: The Music of the Maltese - 08/24/13 08:33 AM
The music of the Maltese is quite beautiful. 
Sometimes uttered in sharp, staccato tones, sometimes in melodious and haunting strains, but is always both expressive and, let's say effective.
Their names are Dirk and Bella Mia.  They are 2 of my 3 little angels.  The other is my 12 year old Maltese, Carmencita. I love my puppinos.
Let me know what you think.....America's Got Talent...or maybe not??

It’s Puppy Time!
Ahhh….I love the morning!  It’s very peaceful .  And  I just love when it’s so quiet that you can hear the appliances hum. 
I love to put on a pot of strong coffee  and get the newspaper out of the driveway (my dogs are too “high maintenance” to fetch the paper).  Then, I read the Sunday paper, do a sudoku puzzle, check the Walgreen’s ad to see if my brand of make-up is on sale this week. 
Then……It’s “Puppy Time!”

BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have babies!!!!  Are these the CUTEST EVER, or what?!  (Please don't answer "or what.")
So, now the house is filled with the pitter-patter of 12 litttle paws on 12 little feet manvuering 3 fluffy white balls. My "Mal-teasers."   I am in love, for sure.  It is SO wonderful to come home after a very long day to a home filled with the love of my husband and 3 sweet little fur-balls.

I can't believe it, I took the day off.  I put my brain on the proverbial rinse cycle.  It was a beautiful thing.
I majored in playing fetch with my "Teaser" (my Maltese) Her Name is Carmencita--"Carmen" ,
Lounging in my PJ's until obscene hours of the day, and making sure my recliner was still in working order.
She is very demanding.  Waht is her favorite toy yo fetch???   Synthetic wine corks.  Can you belive it?  She has a box of toys, purple dogs (named "purplehead), rope bones, fuzzy … (4 comments)

My husband and I were having lunch over the weekend and overheard a great conversation at the table next to us.  They were talking about how much they loved their "teaser."  "Mal-Teasers" of course.  Hey wait a minute, I thought we were the only ones who knew the secret language of the white dog fan club. 
A Maltese is the most elegant of all dogs.  They are brilliant, beautiful, loyal and oh...so lovable.  My little baby Carmen is my only child and oh, so spoiled.  I tell my husband it's all his fault, but I know the truth--it's both of us.  When … (5 comments)
