Very few people are aware of the Community Gardens located in The Woodlands. This secret garden is located in the same complex as The Bear Branch sports fields off of Research Forest. The gardens are associated with the Urban Harvest non profit organization located in Houston. All gardens must be organic. The Woodlands is home to the largest seasonal ice skating rink the the Southwest. Located in Town Center at the corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive, the ice rink opened on November 15th and will remain open through January 14th. Tickets are $9.50 for adults and children over 5. Children five and under skate for $5. Tickets include skate rental and buy one get one free coupons are available at Fidelity Investments located directly across the street.
