Project Just Because (PJB) is a charitable organization that helps individuals and families that are having financial difficulties by supplying them with items they may need. Many different programs are run throughout the year that provide clothing, school supplies, toys, toiletries and small household items. Project Just Because was founded in 1998 as a grassroots effort to help local families, and in 2004 became an official charity organization. 14th Annual Michael’s Run to Benefit the Hopkinton, MA Respite Center – Saturday, October 22 Every year in October, The Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center organizes a very special road race in Hopkinton, MA. Register to run, walk or wheel this 5k race on a beautiful fall day in New England. The race begins at the Hopkinton Town Common at noon. Filling: 1 (12-ounce) package chocolate chips 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese 1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk 1 cup chopped nuts 1/4 cup sesame seeds 1 teaspoon almond extract
Combine chips, cream cheese and evaporated milk in saucepan. Cook over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in nuts, sesame seeds and almond extract. Mix well and set aside.

Hopkinton High was recently ranked highly for educational excellence by Boston magazine and Forbes.com, and has now been ranked the 2nd best high school in Massachusetts and 95th in the United States by Newsweek Magazine. Superintendent of Schools, John Phelan, is pleased with the ranking because Newsweek looked at a wide variety of criteria rather than just test scores and the number of students in advanced placement classes when they made their evaluation.
