The Maui Brewers Festival will be coming to a head on May 30th at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Set on an outdoor stage, there will be a total of 23 brewers serving 46 beers from around the globe. According to the Realtors Association of Maui, there are currently 324 escrows pending on Maui at this time. This is excellent news considering that at the end of March there were only about 200 pending. According to the Realtors Association of Maui, there are currently 683 South Maui condos for sale as compared to 729 at the end of January. There have been 33 sales of South Maui condos in the past 30 days as compared to 19 sales for the month of January. hawaii: Mortgage Update - It's a great time to buy!

Here is an update on the mortgage industry in our area: 1. President Obama's stimulus package now allows you to refinance Fannie Mae loans with no income verification and no appraisal to determine value. It must be a current Fannie Mae loan to qualify. 2. FHA, VA and USDA now require that condos be at least 51% owner occupied. 3. Mortgage insurance requires that condos have at least 70% owner occupancy and that clients have 41% or less debt to income ratios. No exceptions are being considered. 4.
