Hickory American Legion Fair is on August 29th through September 3rd. 2012’s theme is “Rocking Toward 100.” Visitors can tour the exhibit halls to see the best in competitive entries ranging from flower arrangements, preserve and cake decorating to arts and crafts. Children and adults can view various farm animals or watch a livestock competition. All age groups are welcomed. The local agricultural fair serves as a cornerstone in building our local community. Everyone can learn and share in the great heritage and importance of agriculture throughout our state.
