Hard to believe that my daughter will be a senior at Clark University this fall! I am amazed that not long ago, we were sending her off to start her college career there as a Psychology/Chemistry major and now she'll be graduating next Spring and moving on. Clark University was founded in 1887. Located on 950 Main Street in Worcester, My daughter wanted to stay close to home and liked Clark's campus. Clark is a private, liberal arts university and enrolls approximately 2,200 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. Well, it hasn't been a good week for both my husband and I with the weight loss challenge. The beginning of the week we were keeping to our diets and exercise, but as the week ended, our nerves got the best of us. Today, we moved our baby into college and we will now be entering a new chapter in our married life. We will become empty nesters. In just three days, my now 18-year old baby boy, Nevin will be leaving for college and entering a new phase in his life. As his Mom, I have watched him grow and looking back, the time has passed too quickly. All those years now seem like they were just seconds ago. And now, we will be packing most of his belongings, sending him off to a new world. Seems like I was just letting go of his tiny hands when he took his first steady step.
