Happy New Year! Great news, we've been through an election, a "financial crisis," and housing bust ... it can only get better. No one said that life should be easy, and for many, 2008 has been a real challenge. As we slide into 2009 just remember a few basic things and have fun with the rest: life is short, someone else is in a worse situation than you, make the best of what you have-not what you don't have and live each day like it was your last. I was recently asked the best method for obtaining open house listings since many seem to be held each week and most of them are not listed in the Sunday Boston Globe newspaper. The answer is simple, just visit my website and get the list in PDF format - the list is updated every Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning directly from the MLS (99.9% of the agents post their open house listing in the MLS so that buyer agents can easily identify properties to view with their client).
