Without a doubt, Active Rain has built an amazing community and resource for the real estate industry. One of the draws has been the interaction and the POINTS. C’mon, you know you love the points, right? I’m pretty sure I wrote my first Active Rain blog post in 2007. Surely, it was an amazing piece of work. After all, every beginning blogger knows their new post is something the whole world has been dying to read, right? geeks: Raining Hyper-Local Content

This morning, I enjoyed reading about the fact that Active Rain is “Elevating the Quality of Hyper-Local Content.” To me, this type of content is what blogging is all about. Yeah, I know, a lot of people have different ideas, different strengths, and different goals for their blogs but I happen to think hyper-local is just plain cool. It’s about telling a story, connecting buyers and sellers, making connections and much more. Ok, who is using Google Wave? As you can see form the following blog post written by my friend Bill Risser, we are going to meet on Monday to try and dive a little deeper into some of it's features.
