birding: Calling All Birding Realtors

As an avid birder, I spend much of my time with other birders. Many of them have asked me to find areas for them as a retirement destination. It's pretty easy to find great places to bird - but these folks are looking for areas where birding is a HUGE way of life. Suggestions of places with active birding clubs and groups would be welcome. Visited Madera Canyon once and it was a birder's heaven. Places like that! Would love to develop a resource list of Realtor Birders that we could refer to.
