The home is remodeled and the horse facilities are in place, but it was the very private backyard with pool and a view of the Queen's Necklace that captivated my eyes and heart at this Rolling Hills CA luxury home.

Wow! I can't believe I just typed "November" as the title month of this blog post.  2013 blew into town on a real estate wave and took us all for a wild and woolly ride throughout the entire year.  I've never been a part of so many multiple offers in my 20+ years in real estate industry.
 
If we analyze only the luxury homes sales over $2,000,000 on the Palos Verdes Peninsula we see a recovering market but not necessarily the robust market evident in all sales below the luxury home price line.  Given the stillness and staleness of listings … (0 comments)

Yesterday's first step through the front door of 2 Pine Tree Lane in Rolling Hills (the little gated city at the top of the Palos Verdes Peninsula) offered a delightful taste of living the understated Palos Verdes lifestyle.  As the listing agent approached, and while still standing in the entry, I said, "I like it already."

Five Palos Verdes luxury homes priced at $2,000,000 or more sold during the month of November 2012. Palos Verdes Estates recorded four luxury home sales and Rancho Palos Verdes recorded one luxury home sale. There were no luxury home sales in Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates during the month of November.
 
The highest price paid was $5,000,000 for a stunning contemporary home perched on the ocean bluff in lower Lunada Bay in Palos Verdes Estates. The 5 bedroom, 6 bath home exuded architectural style and had a stunning ocean, cliffs and whitewater view.

If you are in the mood to saddle up the horse and go for a leisurely ride you might want to consult the Palos Verdes Peninsula Horsemen’s Association Trail Guide.  It is the only complete guide to the equestrian trails of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.  Maps feature all of the equestrian trails superimposed on an aerial map.
