There are many reasons that you credit score could have been ruined: you made financial mistakes, you went through a hardship, fraudulent activity on your account, life events...and you might not need to pay for those for the rest of your life, because you are in a better place now and it would not be irresponsible for you to take on the responsibility of a mortgage loan, right? Let's face it, Buying a home is a big deal, and for many of us it is the biggest financial transaction that enter into every time we buy a home. So we want to go into it with our eyes open. Which is why we always reccomend that (potential) Buyers get preapproved before they start looking for homes. Does it take long and is it complicated to get the preapproval process started, so that if I do decide to buy a home Sellers will treat my offer more seriously? We understand that sometimes when you are thinking about buying a home, it is just that, I am thinking about it. In this even we suggest that you contact a Lender and let them get you preapproved for a loan. Apart from 15 minutes to answer questions there is no commitment that you make, it is just so that you know what you can (and want to) afford, and it can be a valuable part of deciding to move forward or not. It is not complicated, it is not a huge investment in time, it does not cost anything and it is (1 comments)

Lets face it the reasons are numerous, getting preapproved for your home loan is a win for everyone in the process, especially the Buyer.
