buyers agents: Who Does Open House Really Benefit? InmanWiki Posting Hits Front Page! - 02/11/07 07:08 AM
My InmanWiki article titled "Who Does Open House Really Benefit?" was picked up and placed on their front page! Please take a few moments and have a look.
The gist of the article is that, in todays 21st Century online world, open house benefits the agent for client acquisition more than the seller for finding a buyer. Buyers use online tools to find homes and can schedule showings with an agent when needed. There is no need to wait for open house day to view properties anymore.
Let's have some lively discussion!

buyers agents: Hungry Agents: Bid To Give Away Your Commission! - 10/03/06 06:32 AM
Now buyers agents can bid on how much of their commission they are willing to give away in order to get business. The web site is HungryAgents.com. There is more info in the Inman News article too.
I don't know about you, but I have no intention of signing up with this web site. I don't see how giving away commission is a long term way to make a living. Maybe the people who do sign up expect to make it up in volume or referrals?
What do you think about this?
