Wake County Public Library host a book sale every year to clean out the stacks and make room for new stories, books and magazines. The sale has moved locations this year and they're expanding two extra days to accommodate 300,000 books that need to be sold! Wow, that's a lot of print!!

Now, I might not know much about the church, but I'm thankful that they like to EAT and DANCE! I'm sure it's going to be a great time and there will be lots of fun had by everyone. I'm super excited to check this out with my 3 year old. Mr and Mrs Potato head are some of our favorite toys to enjoy together. Yes, I'm still a goofy kid at heart.

If you haven't checked out Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh, NC...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? It's great fun for little ones and parents. I'm giving you a heads up though, laughter and smiles are abundant. If you're in a grouchy mood, this place will change that.

A group of friends went out a few weeks ago for a night on the town and some oysters downtown. 42nd St Oyster Bar is a Raleigh landmark but it's also a great night spot to catch some music. http://www.42ndstoysterbar.com/ Each Thursday the bands are great but I found a favorite! This Thursday August 13, 2009 they are hitting the bar again!
