Many taxpayers are receiving a Summons from the IRS. What does this mean? What should you do? This video addresses this document and answers those questions.
I am a tax attorney in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I represent taxpayers before the IRS and state tax authorities. I handle tax debts, audit defense, payroll tax issues, and criminal tax matters. An IRS Summons is normally a part of an examination process. The IRS is attempting to get information from you in order to either assess you tax and penalties or validate your return. Many Non-filers with un-filed tax returns are also getting them.
