WOW- Is all I can say. Here's the full story. Our buyer decided to go with a large national lender for her loan instead of a local lender I had suggested. Well 50+ days later and a missed contract close date my buyer called and said we need to have a plan B in case my lender can't get it done. I made a call to our favorite local lender- Debbie Secord @ Prime Lending Reno. Last Wednesday 7/21 she took the application over the phone from our out of state buyer, had to order a new appraisal and put a rush on it to try and (5 comments)

Working with a buyer this week on the purchase of a bank owned home really brought home the point that working with an agents preferred lender is a REALLY good thing ! Our buyer had a pre-qual in hand from XYZlender before we started looking at homes. We found the perfect home, wrote an offer, got the offer accepted and a few days later the lender is starting to raise some concerns and has more and more questions. With a 30 day close we just don't have time. I asked the buyer to get a 2nd opinion from our preferred lender and within a half (0 comments)
