Buyers - Time is running out in order to receive the home buyers tax credit The $8,000 first-time homebuyer tax credit is extended Now, qualified first-time home buyers would receive their $8,000 tax credit if they sign a purchase contract by April 30, 2010 and close by June 30, 2010 The home purchased must be their primary residence Buyer cannot have owned a home during the past three years Tax credit is up to 10 percent of the home's value (not to exceed $8,000) Annual income caps to qualify for the tax credit will increase ($125,000 for single filers / $225,000 (0 comments)

The Arizona Your Way Home program will help qualified buyers (income limits) with a 22% down payment assistance on the purchase of a REO home. The Arizona Department of Housing has made a last minute decision to change the eligible properties guidelines for the Your Way Home Program.
Effective immediately for all purchase contracts written after December 9th the property must be located within an eligible zip according to the attached chart.

Northwest Tucson MLS area market update. As of November ‘09, there were 1615 listing on the market, an 18% decrease from last November. There were 254 closings, a 43% increase from last year. Months of inventory were 6.5 %, down from 12.8% same time last year. Medium sales price was $205,000. If you are curious about statistics on other sides of town pleasegive me a call for more info. Strange. I would be interested in any other information or web sites that other agents and loan officers have that could help those home owners stay in their homes when they are having financial problems.
