The Texas Veterans Land Board changed it's program this week. The discount for Texas veterans with more than 30% disability dropped from 1% to .5%. Other recent changes include no longer a discount for qualified service era veteran or for 15 year loan term. Even with these changes, for many it is still a very good program.
I have had several buyer clients use this program and it is very easy to use, as long as you have a lender familiar with the program. The program can be used with any type of mortgage, not just VA loans. … (0 comments)
