mortgage statement: What about that Annual Mortgage Statement?

It's the beginning of 2017 and like every year your bank or mortgage company will be sending out your mortgage statement. Most people will glance at it, be amazed at how much interest they paid in the last year and file it away or simply throw it out.
This is an important document that you should be reviewing and making some financial decisions. Maybe you will read it and just let it be, but at least you looked at it and read it. If nothing is done, it's still okay. Everything might be good and you just keep moving on.
