Maryland: Mortgages For BRAC Families
In order for the families which are relocating to Maryland, because of BRAC, to have a smoother transition, the State of Maryland has announced an initiative which encourages homeownership.
The initiative provides $100 million in mortgage loans through the Maryland Mortgage Program (MMP) to homebuyers in the 10 counties that will be most impacted by the U.S. Military's Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) activities at interest rates of 4.5%.
