Dolores and I attended the National Capital Dahlia Society Show at the Visitors Center at Brookside Gardens, Wheaton, Maryland this afternoon. If you are in the area, you do not want to miss this show. The show is open on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It is a good time to be selecting the dahlias you wish to plant in you home garden. Wait until after the last frost of the season before planting your tubers outside. This photograph was well received when I posted in a number of Facebook groups.
