In Montgomery County, MD we are fortunate to have Brookside Gardens in the Wheaton Regional Park.  I enjoy taking photographs in the gardens and I seek the colors of the season. The flowers brighten my day and enhance my attitude. It is difficult to have negative thoughts when capturing the beauty of a flower. You never know what you will find in gardens. Dolores and I were visiting The Arboretum in New Hanover County, Wilmington, NC and encountered this furry friend in the stream that runs through the Arboretum.  Always have a camera in hand to capture the moment.

This plant is one that is on display. At first glance, some will think it is a Bird of Paradise plant. What is the correct name?
