Snow Covered Pond In Kentlands
I enjoy my walks through the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Part of my walk this afternoon was in the snow. This is a wooded area near our home. The pond is still frozen over and covered with snow. Have your camera in hand when you walk through your neighborhood to capture the colors of the season.

Are pictures better than words?
I enjoy the seasonal colors in Montgomery County, Maryland. We are fortunate to have Brookside Gardens as a regional park in the county. The Conservatory at Brookside Gardens now has the Spring Display of flowers and plants. It is a great place to visit on a cold winter day. www.brooksidegardens.org

Good Tuesday Morning - Kentlands In The Snow
Let me know if you get tired of seeing snow pictures. The snow is still pretty deep here in Maryland. This morning, freezing drizzle has added a thin coat of ice to make the walking and driving surfaces very slippery. Just heard on the news that 1,000 power company linemen are meeting in Gaithersburg to prepare for the ice storm that is predicted for tonight. Our primary power company is under a lot of political pressure after 200,000 plus homes lost power in the storm last Wednesday.
