The snow reports are in and Mt Baker has stated on their website they will officially open Thursday, November 29th. Mt Baker was hit by a big snowstorm last night that left 17 inches of fresh snow. This adds to the 15 inch base of compact snow already on the mountain. More snow is expected to fall tonight, so this should be a great opening day and weekend for the Mt Baker Ski Area.
