We know that people who have not visited Wisconsin think of it as a frozen tundra ...and it really is not...we celebrate every one of the four seasons. While some years we find Spring gone in a blink...a great deal of effort is put into the summer celebrations in the area...most especially on Lake Michigan's shores and Maier Park...where you will find a festival every week of the summer. There are what seems like a zillion festivals throughout the greater Milwaukee/Waukesha area all summer long...churches celebrate...ethnic groups...arts, crafts....everyone has something to celebrate...the smell of summer grilling delights from traditional bratwurst to roasting corn...and the some-mores in the backyard with those ooey gooey marshmallows !
