Most people had a chance to see a deer and especially a large buck eat from an ultra close viewing perspective. For those who have never had this type of experience with a deer, today is your lucky day. We found a way to mount and hide a GoPro Hero 10 camera inside of a feeding bowl so that we could capture an ultra close up video. Knox County Ohio is surrounded by gorgeous woods, farmland, and acreage which makes it the ideal location for wildlife and especially for deer.

Sunrises and sunsets are two of the most amazing gifts we can experience each day. I shot this short 2-minute time-lapse video from the edge of Mount Vernon, Ohio this morning while at Marshall Meadow near the Knox Community Hospital in Knox County Ohio. The fall season has is here and I am planning to capture some colorful videos in the coming weeks so stay tuned.

This is the time of year when we experience some truly beautiful sunrises and sunsets here in Knox County Ohio. The leaves have been falling from the trees and the views are nearly unobstructed which makes for amazing photos. I shot this photo near the intersection of Upper Gilchrist Road and Yauger Road on the east side of Mount Vernon, Ohio.

I was passing through The Lakes at Ariel Foundation Park tonight and I could tell it was going to be a spectacular sunset. As the sun began to set around 7:15 p.m. this evening, the glowing clouds and their reflection on the lake became more and more vivid. It wasn't long until the sky turned into a vibrant orange fireball.

The Ariel Foundation Park is an amazing place and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Photographers love the park, runners can get their daily exercise, there is great fishing, trail hiking, a museum, the Rastin Observation Tower to climb, picnic shelters to enjoy and plenty of park benches that are located around the park which make a great place to relax.

We created a unique drone video flying over the Ariel Foundation Park in Mount Vernon, Ohio during the winter season while the park was covered with snow and ice. The drone video offers a unique view because the Rastin Observation Tower is typcailly closed during the winter so it is nearly impossible to experiences this type of view without the use of an airplane or drone.

I took this photo of the Super Moon on after midnight on June 23rd, 2013 from my home in Knox County Ohio. The sky was absolutely gorgeous and I was blown away by how close the moon was in relationship to Earth. I read that the moon appeared 13% larger than normal tonight and I would have guessed it looked even larger than that.

The sky was so beautiful tonight that I went for a short drive around Mount Vernon, Ohio looking for a unique location to shoot a sunset photo. I took this photo on the south side of Mount Vernon, Ohio at the Ariel Corporation parking lot overlooking the farm field near Granville Road and Blackjack Road. The photo was taken using the Canon DSLR creative mode / HDR. Knox County Ohio is a spectacular community and it is an ideal location for capturing coffee table book quality photos throughout the county.
