Are You Over 55 years old? The Valley of the Moon is the name of that beautiful area just 4 miles east of Santa Rosa. Some 30 years ago the community of Oakmont was built for "seniors". I don't know about you, but in my humble opinion, the category of "seniors" has moved up to about 75 years old since then. That makes Oakmont one of the best kept secrets in Northern California. I have lived there since last August and I have been so impressed with the excellent facilities that are available to residents there. This is an ACTIVE senior community. … (0 comments)
