atlanta: GILDA- I Don't Leave Home Without Her!

Anyone who knows me, or has ridden anywhere with me, knows that I am directionally impaired. For that reason alone, driving around Atlanta is always an adventure! Several years ago, I was on my way to a meeting in Midtown and after making a wrong turn and getting caught in theater traffic, I called my ever-patient husband, who, for the umpteenth time, patiently guided me to my destination. When I got home that night, there on the kitchen counter sat the marvelous little instrument that has made my life (and that of my husband), much easier! I think GPS had to have … (10 comments)

As a rookie agent and a newbie to Active Rain, I want to use my very first blog entry to say "Thanks" to an old friend, Tim Maitski. Tim and I met each other through a BNI group in Atlanta, but I was in corporate housing sales then, so we haven't seen each other for awhile. Local mortgage officer, Brad Teaver, invited me to join ActiveRain, and when I saw Tim's picture (#1 ActiveRain agent in Georgia), I wrote him a note.
