Home Inspections Aren’t Just For Buyers
Home Inspections are more often than not something a buyer wants done prior to purchasing a home. While not mandatory in Virginia I’d never recommend anyone buy a home without getting an inspection. Sure, it costs money but, it’s money well spent on what’s likely one of life’s biggest investments. Home inspections are to a house what a physical is to a person. There’s no pass or fail but, it’s important to know the overall condition of the house before you decide to move forward with the purchase.

We’ve all seen it in listing remarks. The seller will credit some amount of money for some worn out something or other in the property before closing. Paint and carpet are the two I see most and I just don’t understand the thought process behind it.
