Daylight Savings Time Fall 2014 This weekend we'll say goodbye to Daylight Savings Time. The change technically takes place at 2am on Sunday November 2, 2014 but, I imagine many of us will change our clocks before we go to bed Saturday night. Why Daylight Savings? We technically do this because Congress told us too in 2005. They made the law a part of the Energy Policy Act. The law went into effect in 2007 stating DST would start on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November but, the goal behind the law is to save energy. States (16 comments)
