showing preparation: Importance of Preparing for a Showing

I made two appointments yesterday, Sunday, to show listings this morning. The first was totally prepared with a few lights on, picked up, and tastefully arranged. It was also overpriced. The second was perfectly suited to my clients however, the sidewalk and drive hadn't been shoveled, the curtains were closed and no lights were on, dirty dishes were laying about the less than clean kitchen. To top it off the seller obviously has an affinity for Harley Motorcycles as the house was a shrine to the bike. It was very well priced. No amount of discussion could get the wife interested … (4 comments)
