The Grace Musuem is on the corner of the N lst and Cypress and is an Abilene Historical Landmark. The musuem is the previous Grace Hotel. The Grace could be Abilene's best attraction. There is something for everyone, Art, Abilene history displays, and really fun for kids - a children's musuem!

GO SEE A MOVIE. My favorite place to see a movie in Abilene is the Paramount which has been restored to its original glory. The inside is beautiful and twinkling star lights shine on the ceiling. The snack bar prices are even reasonalby priced to get your popcorn and movie candy fix. There is usually a movie on Friday and Saturday nights at the Paramount. Last Friday, the movie was "To Kill a Mockingbird."

The Paramount Theatre, is one of my all time favorite places to go in Abilene. It was first built in 1930 so it's older than me and that is a good thing! In 1987 the theatre was totally restored and it is truly one of the sights to see in Abilene Texas. The theatre is on a national registry of restored theatres. I went and saw "ET" last night. ET is about an alien child who wanders away from the mother ship and gets left behind on earth and then is befriended by a human child and his family. … (2 comments)
