missouri: Branson Grand Opening of La Iguana Taco & Burrito #2 August 26, 2011. - 08/11/11 05:37 AM
La Iguana original Taco & Burrito Resturant opened just east of Cracker Barrel on Hwy 76 a couple years ago and people have fallen in love with the California-style food that is not normally available in this area.  Owner Alex has found demand greater than he could have hoped and is in the process of getting the new La Iguana opened as soon as all the permits and requirements have been met.  It is located on Fall Creek at the corner of Fall Creek Rd. and Hwy 165 in south Branson to provide for another group of locals that want an … (3 comments)

missouri: Looking for Land in the Ozarks - 01/30/09 10:22 AM
Whenever people tell me they are looking for land I get involved with a passion.  I love to show land because of the views you get traveling around the Ozarks seeing all the natural beauty.  There is land you can farm, land for grazing, timber land, residential lots, ranchland, upland, bottomland, wasteland, land with live water, waterfront land, waterview land etc.
The more questions I have asked, the better picture of what type of land is wanted.  Even though that helps tremendously, you still need to see a lot of land before you can really get a picture of their need.

Showing houses … (8 comments)

missouri: Branson Veterans appreciation week is starting in the Ozarks of Missouri! - 11/04/08 08:11 AM
This weekend the celebration of our Veterans begins in Branson and continues on through the veterans holiday celebration.  That is more than most places ever doo and this area remembers them year around including this celebration of our vets which lasts for over a week.  There is no place in America that I know of that does a better job of letting our Veterans know they are appreciated.  This link http://www.bransonveterans.com/ will give you a complete calendar of events planned this year.  PS, I got my free flu shot at the new Branson VA clinic that has just begun to serve the veterans in this area … (0 comments)

missouri: Golf course developer needed! - 07/31/08 11:28 AM
I have the perfect place for the next great Missouri golf course between Springfield and Branson.  325 acrs listed and another several parcels adjoining totalling up to 1000 acres m/l available.  This is along US Hwy 160 and would be one smart purchase for the sharp developer.  Besides, it would be the closest golf course to me by @ least 15 miles, and I need a good course close by to take care of all these tourists that come here all year, at least a million with nothing to do but drive on by right now.  Come on golf course designer, … (4 comments)

missouri: Weather really is a hot topic around the Ozarks right now! - 07/01/08 04:14 AM
Record rainfalls this year have given us new records of water releases at Table Rock Lake.  Flooded areas along the James River, Lake Tanneycomo, and Bull Shoals Lake too have become never before water level scenes as well.  People have been left without vehicles, homes, and crops, but thankfully, no loss of life has been reported.  Watching our situation hits us at home and almost as much watching what is going on in the Mississippi River areas is our fellow Missourians pain felt too.  With the stock market doing it's typical election year diving and all, the news can seem pretty discouraging, but we have … (0 comments)

missouri: Drought is over, I believe for sure now! - 03/18/08 03:27 PM
Galena and Reeds Spring are used to dealing with a lot of water this time of year, but we are seeing more rain this week than I can remember since?  Water rescues of folks from their homes and records being changed that have been around since 1933 for flood levels and rainfall amounts.  People should know better but are like me and think they can make it no matter how deep it gets, getting washed down the rivers.  Crazy but true today and yet, I love the Ozarks, would not change a thing out it.  This is what makes the creeks and rivers … (6 comments)

missouri: Spring is coming and my fishin' fever is rising! - 02/17/08 10:14 AM
Now that the snow and ice are melted and we are starting to get our spring (active) rains now, I can feel a fever rising in me that can only be cured by boat, shore, or float fishing.  This old Realtor says take me to a pond, river, stream or lake, I really do not care but get me to the water. My mind keeps telling me, awake or asleep, I need to go fishing!  This is a serious cronic illness I have suffered (lol) with all my life.  Just ask my wife, if I do not get ahold of a good … (7 comments)
