dallas: Beware of those phone scams - 09/03/17 04:05 PM
A few months ago I received a recorded phone message stating that I owe taxes to the IRS and that the IRS will arrest or sue me if I don’t pay them.  I was not happy receiving that phone message because I know I owe the IRS nothing!  So I looked up the IRS phone number and called them.  Sure enough, the IRS didn’t call and leave a threatening message.   In fact, the IRS will never call us with a threat or demand to pay anything using any type of cards or wire transfer.
