Casey Crawford needed an online mortgage presence to keep his company, New American Mortgage, on its growth track. Jessica Babinski needed the muscle of a full-service mortgage bank to help her online startup, Paramount Lending, survive the changing mortgage market.
The firms said Thursday they will merge, hiring 30 employees in Charlotte immediately and 150 more over the next three years.
