While I was in South Carolina enjoying the arrival of my first grandson, Nolan Bryce Corbett, born on August 6, 2004 and having an exciting time being a new Grandma, I received an unexpected call on the 16th of August, just 5 years ago this past Sunday, from my sister, Maureen, telling me I needed to return to Rhode Island immediately. "WELCOME TO MY HUMBLE ABODE" I had many mixed feelings of reliving my past and going back to my old neighborhood that I knew was always considered the poor part of town, before East Providece became a city. This was called Watchemoket Point, the start of Warren Avenue right after you crossed the Washington Bridge from Providence.
