lubbock: Lubbock gas prices...DRILL BABY DRILL! - 12/09/08 01:30 PM
I don't exactly know where these low gas prices are coming from, but I'm not complaining!  Just about the time I think they are going to level off and start going back up, they drop another 10 cents or so.  All I can say is that it is about time.  I noticed them as low as $1.33 in Lubbock, Texas today. One of the single biggest factors in sellers not being able to sell their homes at the price they want or need....or be able to sell it at all has to do with DECLUTTERING!  Why do so many skip the significance of this job?  DeCLUTTER is NOT a DIRTY WORD!!!  JUST DO IT!  Your home will actually sell.  Not only will it sell, but it will sell for much more money in a much shorter amount of time.....Don't you know that your mother or father knew best when they told you and taught you to be neat, clean your room,etc.  I … (1 comments)

Is Lubbock Texas a Sellers Market or Buyers Market?  Well, it depends who you talk to and what part of Lubbock.  Which neighborhood?  Which school district?  What price range?  What age range?  These are all questions to ask.  One neighborhood may be a big buyers market while the next neighborhood a strong Sellers market.  For the most part Lubbock leaned towards a buyers market in 2007, with 6-8 months of inventory on the ground.  Average days on market have been longer than usual, with really only the best overall homes and the best priced homes selling.  Not the kind of market where … (0 comments)
