But Kerby Brown, an Australian who was seeking the “biggest” wave for an Oakley Surfing Life Big Wave Awards competition, found himself riding an incredible 40+ foot monster, located at a secret reef location.
When his board went out from under him, Brown was catapulted into the deepest, blackest pounding of his life.
