wellesley real estate: Market Momentum: Needham Rocks, Wellesley Slides, Natick Steady - 03/09/09 07:37 AM
- MetWest Scene -  Market Momentum Posted on March 8, 2009 by bostonkayakguy  Well the real estate pundits have been pontificating on what the market’s been doing.

John Prescott’s The MetWest Scene Posted on November 9, 2008 by bostonkayakguy  Image via Wikipedia
The Wellesley High School football team writhed in agony as the final minutes ticked down on the clock in their game against Braintree High on November 8, 2008.
This has been a season of lost opportunity for the Raiders but the Braintree game was close…so very close.
Casey Tanner was notable, it was a home game, and Braintree failed to score in the final quarter.
The Raiders made up 6 of their 10 point spread against Braintree in the 4th, but the needed win was just not … (0 comments)

Wellesley’s Historical Past… will soon no longer be on display at the site where a section of the town of Needham decided in 1880 to pull away and create the new town of Wellesley. History buffs take notice!  The original town hall of Wellesley was the site of the Wellesley Country Club building across from Babson College.
Sections of the Wellesley Country Club’s old clubhouse date to the 1740s, but what interests many history buffs is the second-floor ballroom, where a 1880 vote formed … (0 comments)

Hotel Indigo in Newton is a new boutique hotel concept, and is the first of its kind in Boston’s western suburbs. Plans to position its pool deck as a hip, happening entertainment venue…

Posted on September 16, 2008 by bostonkayakguy
The crisis on Wall St. is the latest in a series of blows impacting our nation’s small and mid-size businesses.
The latest financial crisis is sure to result in even more stringent borrowing standards and tighter credit.
“If you’re seeking a new line of credit, [the effect] will be instantaneous,” says Andrew Zacharakis, professor of entrepreneurship at Babson College in Wellesley. Interest rates will move higher and the bank-loan approval process will be more rigorous, he predicts, in an article in today’s Wall St. Journal.
We’re sure to see a pullback in company … (0 comments)
