notary: California Notary Public - 06/02/08 06:21 PM
You could expose a lot of persons to substantial liability for an error in witnessing a signature.  There is a protocol for notarizing and witnessing a documents and securing your notary stamp.  If you perform the above two acts with diligence and integrity on each and every time you use your notary seal, you'll more than likely escape major liability during your term as a notary public.

notary: Are Your Beneficiary Designations Updated? - 05/28/08 03:16 AM
When was the last time you reviewed or updated your beneficiary designation selection for your retirement plans, insurance policies or the last time you revised your will?  If it seems like ancient history, it is probably safe to say this would probably be an ideal time to review your selections to ensure that your wishes will are honored, if something unforeseen would happen to you.

notary: Notary Travel Fees - 02/28/08 11:47 AM
To be profitable you'll need to wear both your business operations and your marketing hats.  Too many notaries make money, but few are profitable.  You can use the back of your business card  as a coupon to promote Free document notarization.  An offer as such will serve your well to bring you new clients.
Couple of tips though!  Limit the number of documents or signatures that apply to your FREE offer.  This keeps people with low integrity for abusing your offer and taking advantage of your service every now and again.  Also mention the words: Travel Negotiable in bold on your … (1 comments)
