Our Provincial licensing council; RECO (Real Estate Council of Ontario) does a great job of explaining our role as a REALTOR® and how to differentiate between a client and customer and our role in representing them and in all transactions notifying all parties involve who represents. It may be confusing for some to grasp the reason why there is a difference between a customer and a client but if as a REALTOR® you wish to build your business, the following may help.
