But Bon Air, a community on the outskirts of Chesterfield County, still offers country charm, yet with all the conveniences of city living. Honestly, I couldn’t really think of any neighborhoods that is more Richmond than Churchill, well maybe some areas in the Fan and alongside Monument Ave. There is a very common misconception that Churchill is not a good neighborhood, there is some truth to do that but not to the degree that some indicate. This area is being renovated and restored at an exponential pace, just down the street there is talk about a new stadium and plenty of new housing. Wanda Fears (804) 909-2777 We’ve reviewed other neighborhoods in the past, but we’d like to move right along to another area that is exponentially growing into one of the most prominent and dynamic neighborhoods in the Metro Richmond Area. Short Pump and the neighborhood that surrounds it in the West End have many attractive qualities: shopping, restaurants, good schools and it is a short distance from both downtown and many corporate offices.
