wa: Why should I get a home inspection?

Well people I am seeing a never ending cycle of issues on homes during inspections. 1 out of 20 home have only minor constructions issues,and yet they still had a safety issues here and there. How many home owners open a electrical panel themselves? or crawl in a crawlspace? Not many. Heres a pic of a electrical panel with what is called a NO NO. Double taps on main conductors. When I see this I think it is a fire waiting to happen.

wa: What a difference a builder can make!

Look at the great looking tail on this eave. This is a great gutter and flashing detail. Many times the flashing is never there which leads to rot and decay of this area which is very common as in the next photo.
These rotton eaves are actually quite common way of doing it wrong.Time and time again I see these and I have to say I wish I can show the world the pic above.
