This weekend VAIL MOUNTAIN and THE ELDORA SKI AREA have opened with limited trails. They are a little ahead of schedule this year and join A-BASIN AND LOVELAND SKI AREA which have been open for a few weeks now. It was reported that overall ski revenue was down about 5% last year. So Vail and Eldora have opened early to help make up that shortfall. Helped by the early snowstorms that blew through Colorado earlier this season, these ski areas are calling all skiers to buckle up their boots and hit the slopes.
