Hi Shantee.  That is a great idea you gave us, to create a portfolio to hand out.  In my area, broker opens are hit-or-miss.  Closer to Boston, they are a regularly-attended event, almost like a progressive party.

I attend agent open houses and broker open's often.  Showing face is a great way to earn business.  I never carry my own listing with me, but I follow up the next day with an email of a hot property.  My goal is to show them respect and support at the open....and make it about them and their property that night.

Don't get accused of stealing thunder :)
