Really, there is.

I became a sushi connoisseur many years ago when I was dating a Japanese woman. My wife and I just returned from a visit to Seattle and Vancouver, where good sushi is abundant. Here in Wyoming, you have to look a little harder.

In Jackson Hole, I personally recommend Masa Sushi (in the ski village), Nikai Sushi on North Cache street, and Blu Kitchen on Glenwood. Masa is the most traditional, while Blu is locally famous for their French/Asian fusion inventions. All are simply outstanding! Try the truffle fries at Blue for an appetizer.

Dan - I hear you. I'm addicted to buffalo myself. We bought a 2 year old grass fed cow from a little buffalo ranching operation in St. Stephens recently, in your neck of the woods.

Thanks Tim I will keep that in mind if I am ever in the area. I love sushi. There are some great places around here too. Katana right here in Fountain Hills is pretty good and I really like Stingray in Scottsdale. I also recently found a place in Chandler called Takamatsu that has an very nice all you can eat sushi menu for only $19.95.

Tim, it has been many years, 27 at least, since I passed through Jackson Hole. I was bicycling sround the US. I camped just North of town -- don't remember where exactly.

As for sushi, ... take me to your leader ....
