Listing inventory continues to shrink. In spite of the economic crisis, Colorado Springs' housing market has done very well. | ||||||||||
As always, pricing is important to a quick sale. |
Average DOM surprises me a bit, as I was under the impression that C Springs market was doing much better than other areas of the country. The numbers are still good, it just surprises me...
Cheryl: Thanks for stopping by. I threw these up in a hurry. What a mess, too. I have to find a better format for this and stick with it.
I'm not surprised by the days on market. I think they're very good. 6 months is an equal market, so shorter is a seller's market and longer is a buyer's. Of course that average is for the average list price, too. So properties in the higher price range, Bethany, will take longer.
Did not know the "equal market" fact, it makes sense. I just meant that I thought our DOM would be shorter still, than the "all areas" since our market is doing so well... You know how stagers want it to sell FAST so we get the great stats! =o)
Cheryl: The "all areas" are all areas of the MLS that are not int El Paso County. We have some listings in Douglas, Teller, and other close by counties included. Have a great week!
