Crowdsource Your Brain with TweetBrain
Here's another application for Twitter that you may want to investigate: TweetBrain. TweetBrain is a free, simple Q&A site for responding to the question, "What is your question?" You log in with your Twitter ID, then search questions that other Twitter users have asked. If you know the answer, you post a response. Alternatively, if you have a question, you post it and hope for someone else to post an answer. Crowdsourcing Q&A - easy, right?
I've seen questions such as "What is going on with The Office?" But have also seen more real estate relevant questions like, "Does anyone know a good realtor in Tulsa?" Now, that is the type of question you want to answer!
There are two reasons you would want to post an answer. First, of course, is to possibly gain a lead by offering your knowledge to the question-asker. ("Here I am - your great realtor.") But, just as important, is that your posts on TweetBrain have the potential to be seen by the entire Twitter population, inlcuding but not limited to those who follow you. Exposure to the max!
TweetBrain also includes a Reward function, where you can earn a few dollars by being the best question-answerer to a post. Vice versa, you can also offer a reward for a question that is highly important to you. But I feel that the strength of TweetBrain lies in the potential for you to promote your expertise.
Give it a try, all you Twittering brains out there.
