Actually the appreciation is just slightly more than the cost of living for the area you live in.

The % of increase before the bump was rather consistent. Unfortunately, with current sellers who probably bought in that period from 2000 to 2006, they would be in full agreement with the exceptional growth spurt, and understand that fall back has to happen. Only not with them.

Wow, The numbers make sense but to see it represented visually helps it register on a whole new level. Thanks for posting that!

We need a major correction.  Credit and spending has driven our economy to its theoretical limits and it is time for it to retract without imploding.
