What Does a $2,000,000 Vegetable Garden Look Like? - 2009 Clark County Parade of Homes
As I mentioned in one of my July posts, Are Vegetable Gardens The New Granite Counter Tops?! A "Must Have?", discriminating buyers are starting to list vegetable gardens on the list of items that they must have in their next new home. Based on this year's Clark County Parade of Homes, it looks like at least one builder is getting the message!
Ryan Zygar, of Tamarack Homes, has just recently finished his latest masterpiece, The Hampton, for the 2009 Clark County Parade of Homes. What do you think that this multi million dollar wonder has prominently displayed in the backyard? You guessed it. They have installed a gorgeous raised vegetable garden right into the landscaping! Great job to Ryan and the Tamarack team.

Nope, CC&R's won't allow it. The home is surrounded by green space which is home to a large population of deer. I have a feeling that those deer will be gaining some weight in the up coming months! SALAD BAR!

With all of the emphasis on green and eating locally grown produce I think you will see more emphasis on being able to garden.
